JHTV is the commercialization arm of Johns Hopkins University, responsible for licensing and commercialization for all nine schools of the university. With more than 2,000 inventions available across many disciplines, JHTV regularly works with industry, executing more than 150 licenses per year.
All university technologies available for licensing are available through our searchable, exportable technology database. You can search by inventor or keyword (“macular degeneration,” “ultrasound”). You also can register for notifications when new technologies in your interest area are added to the database.
APL Available Technologies
The Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is a university affiliated research center and division of Johns Hopkins University with a robust portfolio of technologies and deep industry partnerships. APL commercializes its technology directly through its own Office of Technology Transfer. This office is responsible for all aspects of marketing and licensing technology developed at APL.
