Dr. Guy Miller holds both an M.D. and Ph.D. in chemistry. He completed his post-M.D. training at the University of Chicago and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Miller has been the founder and/or or CEO of 4 biotechnology companies and is an adjunct faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Miller is described by his colleagues as a “transformative builder.” From his initial University of Chicago and DARPA-funded investigations in suspended animation to his current interests in the measurement of physical-chemical properties of biological systems, he is guided by the notion that understanding how to measure complex biological systems and processing unique data streams is essential to solving some of the world’s most pressing problems.
